Lotus and the Sun

Heart of this flower
opening in the light,
smiling at the sun that is its life.           
Heart of this flower,
reflection of the sun,
opening into the day.

Heart of all flowers,
awakening together
in this morning of eternity.

Sun above,
flower below.
Light illumines light,
only  this.
