Multi-Dimensional Awareness: a children's camp and community

For the past four summers Llael and I and a few friends have created a camp for families who come from all over the U.S. to create community and share the joys and questions of how to raise our children; children who live in an expanded awareness universe of multi-dimensions, parallel realities, speaking daily of angels and ghosts, seeing energy fields/auras, or through airplanes; aware of past lives on other planets, and speaking of beings who in times past our culture would brush off as "imaginary". 

But they aren't. And the children aren't. They live and breathe and have their being in Spirit and in the physical. They are at the same time both children who need guidance, and teachers who teach by example and by word: guidance for remembering how to live on a 3-D planet and yet still spiritual teachers of what used to be called the great mysteries. Let us share a small example of the day in the life of our little family. One early spring day, Llael and I were relaxing at the breakfast table and reading our favorite magazines when all of a sudden Llael found herself communicating with a new entity. I looked up to notice that familiar stare of total attention had overcome her. A certain quietness and sense of expectation overcomes the room when these things happen.

3/23/98 Celentien visits at breakfast. I was reading Golden Dolphin Society Newsletter, section "Time to get Started" and I was wondering at the same time, if my talking to dolphins and spirits was made up or if I was really hearing correctly. I saw a tall figure beside me all of a sudden, and then felt my head just slowly starting to rise up from the paper, I couldn't stop it until it was straight up and he/she was then in front of me, about 7' tall. 

Celentien told me his/her name (no gender) and said, " this is how you should sit when you are communicating; and be sure to breathe a lot and deeply." Celentien also said that it is easier to communicate when you can see the entity. I so easily spoke with Celentien that I should just trust my feelings when they're talking about something more serious because it's just the same. 

I saw all these animals appear in the air up around him. They would like to speak (crowding for position as they did in our doorway a few years ago.) 

Celentien will be my guide in having a clear channel and will help with that if I choose.

And Celentien has already met Eryn (a 4 year old with abilities like myself whose mother just found our web site). Celentien makes sure that Eryn is protected and that all that she receives is clear. Then my head started going up even further until I was looking out the high clearstory windows and I saw Celentien flying through the branches up into the sky - with a whole lot more flexibility than a human body. 

Sanka added that what I had just interpreted as trees in this physical, had actually been trees in a sort of astral plane that I was seeing through to. She also adds that Celentien is very skilled in moving things within this world and that it was she/he who pushed Eryn safely back up the stairwell when she was a baby.

As you can see, any small thing becomes an opportunity for spiritual growth and learning. For myself, it has been wonderful confirmation of my own intuitions when Llael shares her experiences with me. Celentien for instance, has become a regular "friend" of this household who can be consulted for any important matters needing special clarity. 

It's true for every person on the planet that we are here to learn from our daily living, and seems more radically so for those children and adults who experience life with more of their super-senses in operational mode. It is Llael's and my experience and belief that ALL humans are endowed with the ability to interconnect and communicate with the larger universe/creation. 

Llael says at the beginning of our website, www.psykids.net, "By sharing the spiritual and intuitive aspects of my life on a website, I hope to inspire and encourage people of all ages to acknowledge or discover their own truths. I wish to create community in hopes that others may feel less alone, and through that community, help to awaken the innate potential of expanded awareness in all of humanity! :o)" 

And just to let everyone know, she is just as "normal" as every other teen, she continues, " I'm a 17-year-old homeschooler in Asheville, NC. I love swing dancing, tree climbing, yoga and traveling. My name rhymes with Gail "laugh it". 

I'm fascinated in the creation of a more just, peaceful and joyful world. That interest and devotion leads me to be interested in education, psychology, politics, sociology, anthropology, comparative religions, literature, and environmental science. And if I think about more subjects anymore I'll probably list every "subject" known to man, not to mention bore you to death, so I'll stop.

It is our most heart-felt feeling that our website honors the intuitive faculties within all families, and exists to creating the cultural atmosphere of openness, healthiness, spiritual strength and normalcy all of human family deserves so it can flourish with Love and worldwide harmony. 

From my own search for meaning, I found metaphysics early on, and am eternally grateful that I felt prepared an able to guide the child that Spirit sent me. Many of the questions and situations of growing up psychic/intuitive and parenting an intuitive I feel are best answered with an understanding of the metaphysics underlying all great religions. It is from the traditions of both the East and the West that I have found has helped give credence and vocabulary for developing an integrated understanding for our children's experiences. 

Llael has been very adamant since a young child that the expanded awareness' that she and other children experience are part of the standard operating equipment of every human. It is simply a matter of "turning on" the particular skill. And we have experienced the truth of that in our "living laboratory" at camp each year. 

Each of the children who come to camp come with their own particular skills, all different. It has been fascinating to watch the kids share with each other - mostly by osmosis, and before camp is over, a child who was experiencing X is now experiencing Y as well. Simply from having been exposed to another way of in-taking information. 

So what is happening worldwide? Why are so many children experiencing such supposedly new ways of being, seeing, feeling etc? 

Many people of all ages are experiencing an awakening in their lives at this time. In my readings on consciousness studies, I have been excited to discover the work of Ingo Swann. He is considered the "father" of remote-viewing - a scientifically acceptable word for what has always been known as clairvoyance. He worked for the military, the U.N. etc. and has been writing books now. 

An article of particular interest to me is a paper he presented to the United Nations Committee in 1994 on the state of science and the "paranormal". Mr. Swann listed at least 39 bio-receptors located within the human body that have been identified by science using other names. 39 High Sense Perceptions (i.e. psychic senses) that spiritual traditions have always been aware of, that now are known to have a biological basis. 

It seems that what has always been within our human perception, but has been dormant is now awakening, and in no small measure oddly enough, the sciences themselves are meeting face to face with the reality of what the spiritual traditions has always had available… simply using other words. This is very exciting to me because it opens the doorway wide enough for those who can not seem to fit into the cultural religious paradigm, bringing to scientific cultural awareness the truth that humans broader consciousness capabilities are "real". The gaps are narrowing! How wonderful. 

The Enchanted Forest Intuitive Camp is a joyful, spiritual community network designed for those families who find themselves raising children who express this new paradigm in human consciousness on a daily basis. Our goal is to help children develop their many ways of knowing, and to do so in a grounded and balanced way. It is for whole families to love and learn together, because it is the whole human family who is evolving in consciousness and new ways of parenting are part of the continuum. It is an inter-faith community and respectful of ALL backgrounds.

The consciousness community movement is well and thriving for years now. It is designed for adults, however. So we have taken those wonderful sharings and turned that innate human knowledge into small increments to be shared with our multi-dimensional children as it is needed for each individual. 

We have been especially blessed with wonderful friends who also share our vision for children. Dr. Tobin Hart, a transpersonal psychology professor at State University of West Georgia, has been sharing at the camp. Along with his wife Mary Mance Hart, also an educator, they have created the ChildSpirit Institute for acknowledging children's spirituality in many formats. Linda Iribarren, Llael's godmother is a life long intuitive and the embodiment of joy. All of the sessions are lab classes in that they are all experiential and hands-on. Some of the sessions include conversations in:

*Guided visualization: Creatively explore how our inner life may be reflected outwardly. 

It's very important to us that the presenters be intuitives themselves so that they can best be able to guide the young ones. 

Other projects that Llael and I have been working on are Children's Expanded Awareness' Playshops to share community and metaphysical principles through games and activities for demonstrating the practical application for living with super sensory kids. ChildSpirit mentors are available to come to any community where there are families who would like to create community in their area.
